Narrative Structure

Usually within a music video the main narrative structures that are used are Linear and Non-Linear. A Linear narrative is a music video that tells a story and has a beginning, middle and end. However, a Non-Linear narrative structure of a music video is not in a chronological order, therefore makes the audience think more about the purpose and meaning of the song.

In our group we have decided to create a non-linear narrative structure. In a non-linear narrative we can be more experimental when filming and editing by being more abstract creating enigmas for the audience.
